aim4 is working in partnership with Kent County Council







aim4 worked with Meopham Community Academy to devise a creative week based on the values of the Olympic Games.
The PRiDE project involved working with the whole school over the course of one week to create PRiDE in a variety of visual, physical and creative ways, linking to the Olympic Games. The week's work culminated in an exhibition in the school.
aim4 worked with all of the teachers to collaborate on the project and to desvise activities that would be both enjoyable and challenging.
Year R : Friendship
Created kinetic artwork influenced by artist, Alexander Calder.
Year 1 : Determination and Courage
Looking at the all the nations that compete in the Olympic Games, we looked at the flags of each country to create marionette puppets.
Year 2 : Inspiration
Created sculptural and poetic artwork influenced by artist, Richard Deacon.
Year 3 : Courage
Using large-scale nets, each student created a brick for their own Wall of Courage.
Year 4 : Equality
Created artwork influenced by one of the Olympic artist's, Tracey Emin.
Year 5 : Respect – creating their own respect hands and the question ‘What does respect mean to me?’
Year 6 : News Reporters
Each student created their own weave and grid photos as well as being assigned with setting-up their own News Room to create a creative newspaper/magazine based on the week’s activities.
