As part of Medway Fuse Festival, Cathi was commissioned to direct a piece of site-specific outdoor theatre, performed in five urban green spaces over the course of the festival.

Cathi worked with London-based Central School of Speech and Drama students over the three months to devise the performance piece from scratch using the River Medway as a theme. The piece told stories inspired by the River and Medway throughout history, including shipbuilding, tales from the warships, Medway tragedies and many, many more.

This was a family performance, very visual and physical theatre piece, that was both entertaining and informative.
